In addition, he has previously used Arabic phrases in his songs, such as “Habibi” and “Insha’Allah” (God willing).

No publicly available material shows that Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, is a Muslim. Drake’s father has not publicly stated his religious beliefs, and whether he follows Islam or any other faith is unclear.

Drake is not of Arab origin. He is half-Jewish and half-Black American. While Drake has not publicly discussed his family history, it is known that his mother is Jewish Canadian and his father is African American.

On the other hand, Drake has been known to include many cultural elements in his music and grew up in Toronto, which has a substantial Arab population. He may have been exposed to Arab culture and be interested in it.

Drake has already spoken about his faith in God. Drake told Rolling Stone in 2013: “I believe in God, I’m spiritual, I pray, and I meditate.”

Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham, was born in Canada on January 28, 1960. She worked as an English teacher and a florist while raising Drake as a single mother.

Sandi met Drake’s father in the 1980s at Club Bluenote, and the couple welcomed Drake into the world on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Canada.

Dennis Graham, Drake’s father, is of African American origin and a devout Catholic. He had a musical history and was a previous drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis before Drake was born.

Dennis had a distant relationship with Drake after his divorce from Sandi. They have had public disagreements, but current contacts show that they are reconciling.

Drake mocked his father about a tattoo of Drake’s face Dennis obtained in 2017, implying a positive shift in their relationship.

Despite their conflicts, Drake and his father have been reuniting and discussing their future, showing a renewed closeness between them.
