Gerhard Naude, 49, was reported missing in Brackenfell approximately two weeks ago.
He was last seen by friends and colleagues on Saturday, December 2, between 10:00 and 14:30.
Described as 1.7 meters tall and muscular, Naude has dark blonde hair in a spiky style and brown eyes. Both his ears are pierced with studs, and he occasionally wears dark glasses.
He sports a tattoo of three swallows behind his left ear, a triangle outline on his right hand, and a large tribal tattoo on his shoulder.
Further, he was last seen wearing a short-sleeved black-and-white check shirt and denim shorts.
His father, Gert, flew down from Pretoria to assist in the search.
According to Gert, Naude had left a function venue in Zevenwacht on the morning of December 2, where he had organized a wedding the previous evening.
“He had the venue cleaned up and phoned his mother to say he was going home to feed his dogs.
Further, Gert added, Naude left again later that day, telling his housemate he had a party in Woodstock. Since then, he has not been seen again,” Gert explained.

Gerhard’s father, Gert, who had flown down from Pretoria to assist in the search, shared that Gerhard had left a function venue in Zevenwacht on the morning of December 2.
He had called his mother, indicating he was going home to feed his dogs.
Later that day, he informed his housemate about a party in Woodstock. Subsequently, Gerhard has not been seen.
Concerns arose when Gerhard’s mother, Beulah, couldn’t reach him on Sunday, December 3.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that Gerhard had contacted a friend, mentioning his car breakdown and walking.
The police located his black Mercedes SLK in Woodstock on Wednesday.
Despite extensive efforts by a group of around 100 friends, with Gerhard’s parents, conducting awareness campaigns in Sea Point and Woodstock, distributing posters, and engaging with the public, Gerhard Naude has not been found.
Gert expressed the family’s deep sadness over the situation, stating, “We can’t believe this has happened.
It is tough on his mom and me, and we drive around the peninsula aimlessly, hoping to see him somewhere.”
As of Monday morning, the police confirmed that Gerhard Naude had not yet been located.
