Dylan McDermott’s Character Remy’s Injury Raised Speculation Regarding His Departure From FBI: Most Wanted

Dylan McDermott became part of FBI: Most Wanted in 2022, playing the FBI FTF SSA Remy Scott role.

However, the speculations regarding Dylan McDermott leaving the FBI were raised following his character Remy’s injury in Season 6 Episode 1.

Dylan or the FBI’s production house have not officially confirmed his departure from the series.

FBI: Most Wanted season 6’s plan for the aftermath of Remy’s injury wastes what could have been a great story.

The final scene of episode 1 raised concerns about his health after the confrontation was over, as Remy was shown lying down soon after sustaining a life-threatening head injury.

He was seriously injured during a confrontation with a cornered suspect who attempted to end his own life.

The suspect knocked him backward while he was attempting to handcuff him, causing Remy to hit his head, and then jumped to his d*ath while Remy was helpless to stop him.

Other characters would have to step up to lead in his absence, while Remy might try to do more than he could and resent others for taking over his leadership role.

FBI: Most Wanted plans to make Remy’s injury a temporary inconvenience that will not last long, which cheapens the impact of this storyline and reduces it to little more than a plot point.

Remy has been the head of the Fugitive Task Force since the passing of fan-favorite Jess Lacroix during season 4.

The other unit members gradually started to trust him, even though they missed Lacroix.

However, FBI Most Wanted has never fully recovered from McMahon’s exit. Remy’s stories were never as popular, despite an attempt to add intrigue to his home life by introducing his troubled nephew in season 5.

In addition, episode 2 of FBI: Most Wanted might reveal whether Dylan McDermott has left the series or not.
