Lil Mabu’s Parents, Early Life, And Childhood

Lil Mabu, the son of Peter DeLuca and Jane DeLuca, was born in Manhattan, New York City, on April 4, 2005. His parents named him Matthew Peter DeLuca.

Peter has been a licensed funeral director since 1971 and has established several funeral homes in New York. His first establishment, Crestwood Cremation and Funeral Services, opened in January 1985.

Similarly, he ran Peter DeLuca Properties, a development and property management firm, until 2014.

Peter married Jane in 1978. Their relationship had ups and downs, eventually leading to their divorce in 1998. 

Sadly, Mabu lost his mother and brother, Peter DeLuca Jr., due to a five-story apartment complex collapsing, trapping residents on November 12, 1987.

He grew up with his sister, Alyssa DeLuca, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. Despite the emotional challenges of his parents’ divorce and the tragic loss of his older brother, he found solace in music.

Moreover, he excelled academically, attending a prestigious Collegiate School in Manhattan while nurturing his passion for music.

While attending Buckley Middle School, he earned the coveted Headmaster’s Prize for Strength of Character. He also studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lil mabu’s Musical Journey Into Hip-Hop

The rising rapper started his musical career in 2018 but only became famous in 2020 with the release of “Miss Me.” His collaboration with Dusty Locane, No Snitching, went viral on the social media app TikTok.

His debut mixtape, Double M’s, released on June 30, 2022, featured artists like Dusty Locane, Rah Swish, Sha EK, DThang, and Dougie B.

Straight out of private school, he dropped beats on knocking over jewelry stores and fighting cops. He is a drill rapper, a controversial sub-genre that glorifies violence and crime.

His song “Throw,” featuring DD Osama, was the number-one trending music video on YouTube for a week after its release. It was followed by “Mathematical Disrespect,” which became his first entry on the worldwide major music chart.

Likewise, his “Teach Me How to Drill,” released on December 21, 2023, became the number-one trending music video on YouTube at one point.

Mabu has worked with artists such as Fivio Foreign, PnB Rock, Kay Flock, EJ Banks, ZayBinSteppin, Howiee OO, Chrisean Rock, and many more.

Lil Mabu has a song about sleeping with different ladies, but he keeps his personal life far from the tabloids.

However, netizens have linked him to a possible relationship with rapper Chrisean Rock. Neither of them has confirmed their relationship rumors.

Chrisean and Bluefaced dated in 2020 and have a son, Chrisean Jesus Porter, who was born on September 3, 2023.

Fans speculated about a relationship between Chrisean and Mabu as they shared several social media posts. 

Besides that, Mabu took singer Nessa Barrett as his prom date, but they didn’t seem to have something going on.
