Demea Morris – Teen Girl Shot To Death In Chicago
Tragedy struck a far South Side family on Easter Sunday, as per the Chicago Police, when a teenage girl died in a shooting.
Per the Police, the shooting incident occurred in the 10600 block of South Sangamon Street in the Washington Heights locality.
The teenage girl involved in the tragic midnight shooting was identified as Demea Morris.
She was a 15-year-old student pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to University of Chicago Medical Center.
Demea Morris’ autopsy reports are yet to be released, but it is confirmed that she sustained a severe injury at the back of her head, which resulted in her death.

For hours, the detectives drew a line around the vicinity, scouring for ammunition remnants and gathering proof from the auto where Demea Morris was situated.
The Indiana-plated SUV of a grey hue was found with its rear window brutally shattered by gunfire.
The shooting incident lacks a discernible motive, and the individuals behind the atrocious act remain unidentified.
The presence of any other individual(s) in Morris’ vehicle during the shooting incident remains uncertain.
As the investigation continues, law enforcement authorities affirm that they actively pursue the perpetrator accountable for the crime.
