The American hitchhiker, who was 24 at the time, was shot to fame in February 2013 after a Fox News interview went viral.
Caleb was on the verge of money and fame, but in just three months, he went from being a viral phenomenon to a killer.

Caleb Mcgillvary Mental Illness Update: Where Is He Now Jail Or Prison?
After our extensive reason on Caleb Mcgillvary, we can verify that he has no mental illness.
He is currently in prison, spending his life behind bars for the murder of Joseph Galfy.
Caleb McGillivary was a native of Canada who led a nomadic lifestyle and preferred the term “home-free” over “homeless.”
In February 2013, he attracted widespread attention after he used a hatchet to prevent a man from attacking a woman.
He was interviewed about the incident, on which he gave a colour detail and thus gathered the title “Kai the Hitchhiker.”
Three months after becoming an internet star, Kai travelled to New York and met Joseph Galfy in Times Square.
The duo bonded over an Italian dinner, after which Joseph offered Kai a nap at his home in New Jersey.
When Kai woke up in Galfy’s house, he claimed he had been drugged and sexually assaulted while sleeping.
But instead of taking action, he left the house and went to another fan house to take shelter.
According to him, the fan didn’t show up, and he was forced back to Joseph’s house.
He awoke the following day to find Galfy having a sexual encounter with him.
As a result, the viral man used his hands and elbows to strike Galfy repeatedly in the head.

Caleb Mcgillvary Arrest And Charge
Caleb Mcgillvary was taken into custody immediately for the murder of 73-year-old lawyer Joseph Galfy.
The older man was found dead in his New Jersey home, covered in a head wound, with only his socks and underwear on.
Police found Caleb’s name and phone number on a piece of paper underneath a laptop during their inquiry.
The police also discovered surveillance footage showing Galfy purchasing a train pass for Kai and the two huggings each other goodbye.
Later, Kai confessed to killing Galfy when he was apprehended at a Philadelphia bus stop.
McGillivary asserted that he acted in self-defense and that the lawyer had drugged and abused him sexually.
He filed a not-guilty plea after being arrested.
During the nearly six years he spent in prison awaiting his trial, he even studied law and filed many lawsuits alleging improper government treatment of the case.
However, the police asserted that Kai’s statement was full of holes.
First, his body showed no signs of a struggle, and the memories of what occurred didn’t match the action caught on the train station CCTV camera.
He was convicted of the murder in 2019 and given a 57-year prison term, of which he must serve at least 48 years.
Moreover, he is still imprisoned at Trenton’s New Jersey State Prison and will remain there until 2061.
