On 11 November 2023, a benefit fundraiser was about to be held to support Andy and his family. It was prepared to be held downtown Black River Falls at the firefighter-owned Carpi’s Bar on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
The main purpose of this event was to raise funds for Whaley to support him and his family in the treatment. But the event won’t happen as Andy Whaley has already left the world.
