Roy said goodbye to the 9News and mentioned that it was her final week at a place where her friends had now become family. Roy added,
I am saying goodbye to 9News.This is my final week at a place where my friends are now my family. And I learned what kind of journalist I want to be. All of you have been along for a wild journey. From surviving a pandemic (and the Covid-era brick wall). Mayoral debates. Countless breaking news stories that changed me forever. And getting married and having my first baby. Denver is still home!
