“Bathrobe Bikie” Meehan, renowned for his fondness of wearing fancy dressing gowns, was detained at a property in Benowa Waters on Thursday after the 35-year-old told a judge he had fled NSW because he had a three-million-dollar hit the head,” according to The Daily Telegraph.
Although Detective Superintendent Grant Taylor would not corroborate the purported bounty on Meehan, he did say that Police frequently educated gang members on “risks” associated with them.
“When we believe it is important to decide that we should advise them of a certain risk, we continuously contact with members of illegal motorcycle gangs,” he stated.
Meehan was detained at a residence in Benowa Waters on the Gold Coast on Thursday after the 35-year-old told a court he had fled NSW after receiving a “$3 million knock to the head”.
The injunction was issued on November 21, 2022, and became effective shortly after.
According to Police, Meehan breached the order four times in connection to his residence and usage of encrypted messaging apps.
According to them, Meehan escaped Sydney “nearly immediately” after the order was issued and traveled to Queensland.
