Actress Esta TerBlanche, best known for her role in All My Children, is survived by her loving ex-husband and goddaughter, Barbie Ashley, who will cherish her memory.

Esta TerBlanche was married to Andre Kock from 1997 until the couple separated in 2008.

 

Moreover, the two remained silent after their marriage and never revealed the reason behind their huge step to separate from the marriage. 

 

Since then, the actress has remained single and focused on caring for her pets, rescuing street animals, and providing them with a safe home.

 

Though childless, she was an extremely close godmother to Ashley Barbie, who followed her like a real mother and took her guidance and mentorship. 

Furthermore, Barbie was the one who announced the tragic and sudden death of the 51-year-old “All My Children” alum. 

Additionally, her longtime co-star from All My Children, Cameron Mathison, who portrayed her husband, Ryan Lavery, on the show, paid tribute following her death.

 

Her on-screen husband, Mr Mathison, said she was one of the nicest people to have ever existed and remembered.

“RIP my Sweet Princess,” Mathison wrote in tribute, sharing a photo of them from their shooting.

Grief Over Esta TerBlanche’s Death Pours in From All Corners

Esta TerBlanche, the star of All My Children, tragically passed away at the age of 51.

 

Heartwarming tributes had poured in for her from loved ones and everybody who knew her. 

 

Her manager, Annie Spoliansky, also joined the bereavement by sharing: 

We are deeply saddened by this news. As for a personal statement, I’d like to say that Esta was such a kind, loving, giving, and caring person. She cared so deeply for all people and animals. She had squirrels she fed and looked after daily, her two cats and recent kittens that she cared for as her own children.

Additionally, the star’s publicist, Lisa Rodrigo, expressed her sadness, saying:

I am heartbroken upon learning about Esta’s death,” Rodrigo said. She was and always will be a beautiful soul who I will miss every day. I am proud to have known her and call her not only a client but a friend.
