The chef was born and bred in California, USA, to Filipino-American parents. Though Johneric Concordia’s age is not revealed, some sites estimate him to be in his early to mid-forties.
The restaurateur grew up in a family where BBQ was constant. His parents enjoyed cooking, and he was introduced to creating recipes from earlier on.

The duo’s passion for food led them to launch The Park’s Finest with their childhood buddies Mike, Ann Pajimula, and Oscar Bautista.
Initially a catering company, the eatery offered catering services to community events and birthday parties.
With the help of Search to Involve Pilipino Americans and their community, the owners expanded their business to The Park’s Finest brick and mortar in 2012. They also earned business counseling to run a sit-down dining restaurant.
Now the restaurant is one of the finest dining places in Echo Park. It has been featured in mainstream media, such as NBC News, LA Weekly, and The Wall Street Journal.
Additionally, the Concordia duo’s restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives in 2013.
During the Corona pandemic, The Park’s Finest’s Feed the Frontliners Project was launched to provide food to fire station personnel and healthcare workers throughout Los Angeles County.
