In a devastating accident, Lakenya Anderson, driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue, collided head-on with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Johnson.
Sadly, Anderson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Additionally, Anderson’s 12-year-old son, a passenger in the Nissan Rogue, was injured and taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

Lakenya Anderson Accident Led To Death
On June 18, 2023, a devastating accident occurred, resulting in the loss of Brantley, North Carolina, woman Lakenya Anderson.
She was involved in a head-on collision around 8:05 in the morning while riding as a passenger in a vehicle. The collision occurred on Crenshaw County Road 57, approximately seven miles north of Brantley in Crenshaw County.
Anderson suffered fatal injuries when the 2018 Nissan Rogue she was driving collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado by Lucas M. Johnson, a 20-year-old from Brantley.
Sadly, Lakenya was pronounced dead at the scene. A 12-year-old child in the Nissan Rogue sustained injuries from the collision and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Similarly, the investigation is ongoing, and the Highway Patrol Division of the “(ALEA) Alabama, Law Enforcement Agency” is working diligently to gather more information.
On the other hand, Lucas M. Johnson, a 20-year-old from Brantley, was arrested in connection with her tragic death, as mentioned on News3.
Sergeant Jeremy Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) confirmed that Johnson was arrested and charged around noon on Tuesday.
Currently, Johnson is held in the Crenshaw County Jail and awaits a hearing to determine his bond. The charges and arrest are related to the two-vehicle crash on Sunday, June 18, at approximately 8:05 am.
