Chrissie Mayr Accused of Transphobia After Joking About Dylan Mulvaney

Chrissie Mayr, a standup comedian from New York, caused controversy during a recent performance at Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub in Dallas, Texas.

During her routine, Mayr joked about transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, referencing Mulvaney’s gender-affirming top surgery and asking why Mulvaney still had “no tits after a year of transitioning.”

Mayr then made a crude joke about getting a penis if she were transitioning to a man. While some in the audience laughed at Mayr’s jokes, others were offended, with one woman shouting out that Mulvaney was a woman, not a man.
