During the media conference for his latest single ‘Idolo’ under GMA Music, JC Regino revealed that he has always been passionate about music like his Father.

JC shared that he started developing his interest in music at a young age and was inspired by his Father’s ability to write songs and bring joy to people’s lives.

At 14, JC started composing his music, which he considers a God-given talent he enjoys sharing.

Despite the pressure of living up to his Father’s name, JC feels more proud than pressured to be April Boy Regino’s son.

He recounted his memorable bonding moments with his late Father and shared some advice his Father gave him, including putting 100% effort into everything he does.

In an emotional message to his Father, who passed away in November 2020 at 51, JC expressed his love and gratitude, saying he misses him dearly and will always be his idol.
