Mallory Beach Family Settlement And Civil Lawsuit
In the process of seeking justice for their daughter, the Beach family sued the Murdaugh family one month after the accident.
CBS News article suggested that Mallory’s family accused the Murdaugh household of wrongful death.
According to the registered criminal case, Paul Murdaugh was charged earlier with the crime.
However, Paul and his mother, Maggie Murdaugh, were murdered in June 2021. Therefore, Mallory Beach’s parents never really witnessed Paul’s trial.
Consequently, in January 2022, the Beach family submitted a whopping $50 million creditor claim against their assets.
Confirming to WTOC 11, a judge agreed to a settlement between the Mallory Beach family and the Murdaugh family in early 2023.
The Murdaugh family sold their Moselle property worth roughly $4 million throughout Hampton and Colleton Counties.
In the process, Renne and the Murdaugh family’s two co-receivers acquired $275 Thousand as part of this lawsuit settlement.

Deceased teen girl Mallory Beach was born in April 1999 to her parents, Renee Searson and Phillip Harle. The young, friendly girl was seen as the light of the Beach family.
Mallory’s parents, Phillip and Renee, divorced when she was young. However, their parents maintained a friendly relationship as co-parents.
