JuJu Smith-Schuster’s decision to pay for Kansas City Chiefs during free agency was definitely fueled by the expectation and hope for winning his first Super Bowl.

Following the Chiefs’ victory over the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, JuJu was delighted to discover on Live TV that he would receive $1 Million for his contribution to the team’s success.

Juju Smith-Schuster Family have been over the moon after the recent news on an additional $1 Million bonus for the wide receiver and Super Bowl Victory against Philadelphia Eagles.

Some concerning rumours have surfaced about JuJu Smith-Schuster Family, but they have no basis in reality and seem to have been concocted purely to drive website traffic and clicks.

In December 2020, his mother, Sammy Toa-Schuster, reported receiving death threats in connection with her son’s pre-game dance ritual on the midfield logo.

Returning to the recent rumour of one of his family members being severely ill, it’s entirely fake, as his mother and other family members were seen attending the Super Bowl LVII.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Family Roots can be traced back to Samoan and African-American ancestry, and he was raised in Long Beach, California.

Identifying as a Christian, he is the second child in a family of seven siblings. He is also related to Johnny Nansen, who previously served as an assistant coach at USC.

He earned his nickname “JuJu” when he was just a few months old, given to him by his aunt. She initially addressed him as “John-John,” but later switched to “JuJu.”

So’omalo is his only biological sister, and their Father was not involved in their upbringing.

When he was four years old, his mother, Sammy (Toa), was introduced to Lawrence Schuster, who later became his stepfather.

Lawrence is truly a Father figure for him as he hyphenated Schuster to his last name after he turned 18 as a way of honouring his stepfather.

Schuster looked up to USC as a child and found role models in wide receivers such as Marqise Lee, Robert Woods, and Nelson Agholor.

The wide receiver’s mother, Sammy Schuster, had five additional children with Lawrence after JuJu’s birth, and he often takes care of them when he visits his hometown in South Carolina.

In 2017, the epic wide receiver signed a contract worth $4.2 Million with the Steelers that lasted four years.

The deal was too good for the young Juju, with a signing bonus of $1.19 million and a guaranteed amount of $1.84 million.

Allowing him to continue playing for the Steelers, another one-year deal worth $8 million was signed between the Steelers and Schuster on March 19, 2021.

Kansas City Chiefs, Super Bowl LVII Champion, signed JuJu Smith-Schuster on March 20, 2022, for a one-year deal with the maximum earnings being $10.75 million.

As per ESPN pre-game reports, the contract for his 2022 season included a $1 million bonus that would be paid out if he participated in more than half of his team’s offensive snaps in the Super Bowl.

Later it was revealed that to receive his $1 million bonus, the Chiefs needed to win the Super Bowl against Philadelphia Thus, the team’s triumph also secured the incentive for the player.
