He was a social media content producer who attended Salmon Arm Secondary Jackson and Sullivan Campus and was enrolled in Thompson Rivers University.

Sicamous Tragic Loss: Carter Kosick Got Into A Brutal Accident Which Took His Life
The Salmon Arm community and School District 83 are mourning the senseless loss of three local teenagers, including Carter Kosick, after a delayed crash near Sicamous.
On February 15, 2025, 18-year-old Kosick and Carter Lawrence were involved in a fatal T-bone crash on the Trans-Canda Highway at Cragellachie.
The second young man to pass away recently as a result of the collision on the Trans Canada Highway near Sicamous has been identified as 18 year old Carter Kosick.

The crash, which occurred around 4:30 p.m., involved a pickup truck carrying four teenagers and a semi-truck.
One of the teens was pronounced d*ad at the scene, while the others were rushed to the hospital.
Kosick and Lawrence succumbed to their injuries and the tragedy comes just days after the loss of another young local, 18-year-old Olly Willmot, who tragically perished after falling through the ice on February 8, 2025.
During a tearful board meeting for Kw’saltktnéws ne Secwepemcúl’ecw School District 83, Supt. The tragedies visibly shook Donna Kriger.
She shared:
There is no conceivable way that I can articulate this evening what those three young men mean. They are friends, they are brothers, they are sons, and their loss has absolutely shaken this community.
Carter Kosick’s Family Are Mourning The Loss of Their beloved son
The Salmon Arm community is still in shock and mourning over the d*ath of Crater Kosick, who passed away in a fatal acc*dent.
As loved ones, friends, and family gather to honor his memory, stories about his good nature, kindness, and close friendships illuminate the mourning.
The teenager was the beloved son of Angela Kosick and Tyler Kosick who loved him dearly.
Moreover, his mother, originally from Fort Saint John, British Columbia, currently resides in Salmon Arm, where she and Tyler built a home with their family.
We were so blessed to receive so many heart felt messages today and visit with so many of Carters friends at the hospital today. He was truly my ride or die buddy and I sure felt today that he was that for so many other people as well.
The family has created a Facebook page to allow family and friends to come together and recall the life of a young man and the countless memories that they had shared.
