The couple had a spiritual journey to the Holy Land, and they did a pilgrimage across Israel, treading in the steps of Jesus’ life to reach sacred places where their faith grew deeper.
In “Caesarea,” the two stood at the Mediterranean Sea, and the Bible reminded them how many times Paul had stood on trial.
At “Nazareth,” they visited the Church of the Annunciation and Saint Joseph’s Church, thinking about the life of Jesus when he was little.
Mr and Mrs Tooten rejoiced at the site of Jesus’ first miracle of turning water into wine in “Cana.”
To them, it was more than a journey; it was almost like a spiritual experience that bonded them in marriage.
Unfortunately, the pastor left this world, leaving his wife and children. His passing has been shocking news to the bereaved family.
