It’s such a whirlwind of emotions! People are calling, sending messages, everyone is so happy. I still can’t fully process what I’m feeling. I was in the car with my family. It was really funny because my nomination was announced first, my name was the first they called, and my wife started screaming and crying. I didn’t hear a single other nomination because she was screaming so loudly.

In one of his 2020 interviews, the actor shared his love story with his then-next-door neighbor and now the love of his wife, who is two years older than him.
When asked what was his most unusual date or courtship gesture, the star answered:
They were all stupid beacuse i had no idea how it’s done. I’d slip, I had this white tie. I would write something on it with a pen and slip it under her door. We were next door neighbours. I would climb out of my window and into hers. Well not into per se. I’d climb out of my window, slow-walk along the wall to her window and knock.
Furthermore, he added,
She would look at me through the window like i am an idiot, literally, and not open it and i would slow-walk back. All the courtship was one-sided. I’d buy her curd snacks
