Jean Messiha is a French economist, media personality, and former politician and civil servant.

Born in September 1970 in Cairo, Egypt, Jean Messiha graduated from Ecole nationale d’administratio in 2005. He earned PhD in Economics.

Furthermore, in 2014, Jean served as the Deputy Undersecretary of Management at the Ministry of Defence.

In 2016, he joined the National Front (FN)  and served as the spokesman of Horaces, a group of civil servants and business executives who gathered and met once a month to discuss the party platform.

Later, he left the party to assume the presidency of the Apollon Institute. However, he became a Reconquete political party member in 2022 and became its spokesman.

Coptic Christians are an ethnoreligious group indigenous to North Africa. They primarily settled in the areas of modern Egypt and Sudan since the ancient past.

As mentioned earlier, Jean was born in Egypt. Later, Jean with his family moved to Colombia and lived in Bogota when he was three.

Later, at eight, Jean arrived in France with his family and grew up in Mulhouse. So, Jean Messiah is Christian. He followed Christianity and was raised in Christian culture and traditions.

Jean might be religious, but he has not talked much about his personal belief and faith.

In 2012, Jean Messiha was shocked when he was still considered as an immigrant by Institut national de la statistique et des etudes economiques (INSEE), a national statistics bureau of France.

Talking about Jean Messha’s race and ethnicity, both of his parents might have been initially from Egypt.

Jean belongs to a Coptic Christian family. So, as per our research, his ancestors are from North Africa.
