Yousef Makki parents did their best to get justice for their son, who was stabbed in the heart with a knife by his friend.
Yousef Makki was a 17-year-old boy from Burnage in Machester. He was stabbed to death by his friend, Joshua Molnar, in 2019.
Makki received a scholarship and was a student at Manchester Grammar School. His friend, Joshua, unlawfully killed him in upmarket Hale Barns near Altrincham, Greater Manchester, on 2 March 2019.
Furthermore, Makki’s friend Joshua said he acted violently in self-defense when he stabbed Makki after an altercation over a botched drug deal in which Yousef Makki called him a pussy.
Another friend named Adam Choudary was also with her during the incident.
At that time, Joshua was cleared of manslaughter and murder and was sentenced to 16 months in prison for carrying a knife in public.
After two years of the incident, the case was reopened, and it was found that Yousef Makki was unlawfully killed.
Now, Joshua will face more punishments, and the authorities are taking further steps regarding the case. Yousef’s parents did a lot to get justice for their son.

Are Yousef Makki Parents Still Alive? Father Ghaleb
Yousef Makki parents are father, Ghaled, and mother, Debbie. Sadly, Yousef’s mother is not alive, and she passed away in 2020.
Youef was a lovely son of his father, Ghaleb. However, not much information is available about his professional life.
Yousef Makki belongs to an Anglo-Lebanese family. And because of their different ethnic background, many people thought the decision the court made in 2019 was unsatisfactory.
On the other hand, Joshua Molnar belongs to a wealthy family.
Yosef’s dad screamed, “Where is the justice for my son?” in the court in 2019 after Joshua was cleared of Yousef’s murder.
But, after two years, the family received justice for their son, and the court finally proved that Joshua unlawfully killed Yousef.
After the verdict in 2019, Yousef’s father visited his son’s grave and promised that he would leave no stone unturned until he got justice for his son.
And finally, after two years, the family got justice for their son and are happy about the decision made in the court.
Yousef Makki Parents: Mother Debbie
Yousef Makki’s mother, Debbi, was devastated after learning the news of his son’s death after the brutal attack by his friend.
Debbi was not satisfied with the court decision in 2019 after Joshua Molnar was cleared and was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter.
After the incident, along with her daughter Jade Akoum, Debbi participated in different campaigns related to Knife crime. She also raised her voice for the actions to be taken against the people who carry knives in public places and harm other people.
In May 2020, Debbie was rushed to the hospital after she became ill. Later, she tested negative for Covid-19, and as per her family, it was believed that she had an infection that developed into sepsis.
Debbie was getting treatment in the Intensive Care Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. But, sadly, she passed away on 24 May 2020. It was an unfortunate incident for the entire family; they mourned the loss of Debbi following the loss of Yousef.
Lastly, Yousef Makki was a bright man with a beautiful vision to achieve in life. After so much effort and battle, the family got their child’s justice and are pleased with the recent court decision.
