Willow And Bonnie Webb Missing: Family Searches For Missing Girls
According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, the two girls went missing on County Road 1408 outside Athens between 3 and 3:30 pm.
Bonnie Webb, 11, and Willow Webb, 14, are sisters from Tyler. They were last spotted wearing blue jeans. Officials said one female wore a black shirt, and the other wore a bright shirt.
The Webb sisters had been living with guardians at their house for nearly a week before missing.
Hillhouse stated that it is now uncertain which direction the girls may have proceeded in or whether they were picked up.
“They don’t know the region if they left here on foot.” It’s hot, and they can quickly become overheated. “And we don’t believe they had anything with them if they left alone,” Hillhouse added.
“Therefore, you know, their health might be jeopardized. And we’re still trying to determine if it was an abduction.”
Hillhouse said the children’s mother flew from Tyler to Athens to assist in the search.
“We’re just getting started with this investigation and attempting to find the females,” Hillhouse added. “They’ve been residing in Tyler.”
We’ve got units throughout Smith County that are interviewing folks. “We’ll see where the probe leads.”
