Rapper Kasper Knight, sometimes known as Kasper Tha Phantom, appears serious about becoming famous.
In a Facebook Live video, the Indiana guy held a pistol to his cheek and fired the trigger, stating he was doing it for a music video.

The Live video, which has yet to be removed from the site, is quite gruesome, as Knight usually bleeds and chats while the clip continues. Knight later posted on Facebook after alleged “haters” accused him of exaggerating a PR stunt.

Kasper the Phantom is a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based rapper. He served in the military and was a security guard for the Department of Corrections. In 2015, Kasper published “Enders’ Gate: End of a Golden Age,” a fantasy novel.
On Saturday, Kasper Knight, alias Kasper Tha Phantom, posted a video of the act on his Facebook page, which has now received over one million views.

The video is reminiscent of the Sopranos episode ‘The Fleshy Part of the Thigh,’ in which a rapper asks a gangster to shoot him in the leg to obtain recognition in the hip-hop world.

Many viewers believe the man used a starter pistol and blanks because no bullet appeared to have penetrated his other cheek.
He says he shot himself because he “felt like taking a bullet to the face.” He rates the shot’s agony as a 4 out of 10. He claims to have been shot in the face previously.
“I don’t care an fk about nothing anymore,” Kasper shouts shortly after shooting himself. I swallowed the bullet… s t,” he said, expressing that he no longer cares about his life.
He has responded to those who have chosen to dissociate themselves from him by stating that he alone gathered enough traffic for himself.
Since this happened, his Facebook has been bombarded with comments, with one person saying: “I imagine you went to the hospital where you stole physicians and nurses away from patients that truly wished to survive. “I wish you get locked up.”

Knight shared a selfie of himself and his girlfriend on Facebook on May 10. Knight informs a pal in the comments section that he underwent “head surgery” in April 2016.
Knight also mentions in the caption that he has previously been shot. That’s something he referred to in the shooting video, when after getting hit in the cheek, Knight remarked, “The last time a bullet ricocheted through me, it destroyed one organ and half of another.”
Knight states in the video that his initial idea was to film himself as part of a music video, but he couldn’t find somebody to direct it.
A few days after the first video, Knight released another in which he called out people who said he was a phony. He then displayed his sutures, telling spectators, “Nasty though, ain’t it?”
According to another biography, Knight formerly served in the military and worked for the Department of Corrections as well as a security guard.
Knight remarked to his admirers on the same website designed to promote his work, “I literally earned popularity now” since the shooting video.
