Isaac Levings, a school teacher at Elmwood School in Christchurch, was reported missing after attending The 1975 concert at TSB Arena in Wellington on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
According to the New Zealand Herald, Isaac became separated from his friends after the concert, became disorientated, and his phone went flat.
The alarm was raised when he didn’t return to where he was staying. Later Police in Wellington Harbour found his body on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Police publicly appealed for information about Isaac’s whereabouts and started searching the harbor, where his body was found later that day.
His family and the Police were concerned for his welfare, and Police began conducting water-based searches in Queen’s Wharf, where he was last seen.
On the evening of April 27, 2023, the Police located Levings’ body in Wellington Harbour, and he was declared deceased.
The Police spokesperson stated that Levings was found by search teams in Wellington Harbour late that afternoon.
