On Sunday, the Police in Gladstone, Missouri, identified the body found in a pond on Friday as Jayden Robker, a 13-year-old boy who had been missing since February 2.
Throughout her son’s disappearance, Heather Robker held on to the hope that Jayden would be found and returned to her safely.
The news of her son’s passing left Heather Robker utterly heartbroken. She said, “It’s incredibly difficult to accept. The shock is overwhelming, and I’ve been in tears all day. It’s a lot to handle, and I struggle to deal with it.”

Heather Robker: Jayden Robker’s Mom Mourns The Death of her first son
Heather Robker, the mother of Jayden Robker, spoke of her son’s interests and dreams after a memorial was placed outside their former home.
Heather’s grieving mother described Jayden as an ambitious and determined young man passionate about his interests.
Several media outlets have reported that on February 2, Robker left his residence to sell his Pokemon cards but did not return home.
His last sighting was near the intersection of Northwest Plaza Drive and Northwest Plaza Avenue.
Since February 2, when Jayden Robker was last seen, the community has rallied to help locate the missing 13-year-old.
The past month has been marked by a collaborative effort to find him, with people pitching in wherever they could.
Following Jayden Robker’s disappearance, his family organized search parties and held gatherings to find him in the following weeks. On March 8, the FBI offered a $5,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.

Authorities from both the local and federal levels discovered the body of Jayden Robker in Gladstone lake on March 10. Following identification procedures, the Police officially confirmed on March 12 that the body belonged to Jayden.
Despite remaining optimistic about a happy reunion with her son, Jayden Robker, Heather Robker’s hopes were shattered when divers recovered his dead body from a nearby water source.
Heather Robker mentioned that they are going through a difficult time as they miss their son and want the public to be aware of their loss.
The Police have announced that the autopsy performed on the body has revealed no immediate signs of foul play, as per the latest information.
In addition to his parents, Jayden Robker is survived by his five younger siblings. Despite the overwhelming pain of their loss, his mother shared that she is striving to remain strong for the sake of her family.
Following the tragic passing of Jayden Robker, residents set up a memorial at the location where he had once resided.
It featured pictures, prayers, and Pokémon stuffed animals, a touching tribute to the 13-year-old.

Jayden’s aunt, Susan Deedon, stated that she persistently told the authorities they should look in the ponds, as she suspected that her nephew might be there.
She further added that she was unaware of the pond where Jayden’s body was found and had she known about it earlier, she would have personally searched it herself.
Even after discovering and identifying the 13-year-old’s body, there are still many unknowns regarding the events leading up to his death and how he ultimately ended up in the pond.
