In October 2016, her body was discovered floating in San Diego Bay, and it took authorities a week to appreciatively identify her as her body poorly perished. Matthew was in the process of moving to Maryland with his new love interest when Liz’s body was set up. Prosecutors believed that this wasn’t a coexistence.

In February 2020, Matthew’s trial for his woman’s murder began. Deputy District Attorney Jill Lindberg contended that he killed Liz by beating and pecking her in a bedroom of their San Diego home. She said he’d learned that his woman was having an affair and had plans to separate from him.

Liz’s hubby, Matthew Sullivan, was charged with her murder. Prosecutors claimed he killed her by beating and pecking her in their San Diego home. According to Deputy District Attorney Jill Lindberg, Matthew had learned about his woman’s affair and planned to separate from him, leading to the brutal murder.

The trial began on February 21, 2020, and Matthew denied committing the crime. Still, the prosecutors presented strong substantiation, including the murder armament set up in the garret of their home and the fact that Matthew was moving to Maryland with his new love interest on the day Liz’s body was discovered.
