Callie Joseph Death: Died In A Car Accident
On Saturday, April 22, 2023, Callie Joseph died unexpectedly after being engaged in a horrific accident. The Kenora Thistles Hockey team shared the tragic news of Callie and Evan Joseph’s deaths via social media.
The families of Callie Joseph and Evan Joseph have yet to issue an official statement on their deaths; therefore, funeral arrangements are unclear. All of this information, however, is likely to be given very soon by their adored family.
She was a member of the Lady Hawks, representing Wiikwemkoong, for many years in Little NHL and contributed significantly to the team’s success.

She was a superb player and a lovely and compassionate individual who had an excellent impression on everyone she met.
Their family has agreed to establishment of a fundraising effort to assist them at this difficult time. At the time of writing, $7,585 CDN has been raised off the $10,000 target.
The deaths of Callie and Evan have stunned the Kenora Thistles community, and the family has requested privacy while they grieve.

On Facebook, Mandie Shawnoo offered her sympathies, noting that the whole KSP LNHL hockey family and community is heartbroken over the passing of Callie and Evan Joseph.
She praised Evan’s passion for hockey and outstanding sportsmanship, saying he will be remembered lovingly. She also expressed her love and prayers for the Josephs.
The Lake of the Woods Girls Hockey team expressed their condolences and sadness on Facebook for the loss of Callie and Evan Joseph, who were recognized by their jersey numbers, #4 and #23.
As friends and teammates, the girls were very saddened by their loss and sent their condolences to the Joseph family on behalf of the hockey community.
