Two tourists have revealed their desperate attempts to save an eight-year-old Sydney boy who died while on vacation with his family in Fiji.
The electrocution of an eight-year-old Sydney boy found motionless at a Fiji resort is suspected, according to Fiji Police.

The investigation, according to Police, is still ongoing have not yet confirmed whether they have received the postmortem results or what caused the electrocution.

The young boy who died in a suspected electrocution accident at a Fiji holiday resort has written a heartfelt post vowing to love him forever.
The boy, identified as Cairo Winitana from Sydney, was staying with his parents at the Club Wyndham Denarau Island Resort on Fiji’s main island’s west coast.
They also stated that the boy was a New Zealand citizen but a resident of Australia. According to a spokeswoman for New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the family is receiving assistance.

A resort spokesperson stated that while they had not yet received an official report on what caused Cairo’s death, they had isolated the incident area, so there was no further risk to guests.
“Police and the electricity Company are both conducting investigations,” the spokesperson said. “Regarding the following steps, we must wait and work with the local authorities.
“We have offered the family our sincere condolences, and our thoughts are with them now.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand stated that it assisted the family but could not provide further information due to privacy concerns.

Cairo’s bereaved family is now faced with the daunting task of bringing his body home, with loved ones setting up a GoFundMe to help them cover travel and funeral expenses as they mourn their son’s death.
His mother paid a heartfelt tribute to her son on Monday, sharing a black and white photo of herself kissing him on the cheek when he was a baby.
“My son, I have loved you since the moment I discovered I was pregnant, and I will love you forever more, my beautiful, beautiful blue eyes,’ she wrote.
This is a heartbreaking situation loss for our family,’ wrote relative Glenys Wana on the fundraiser page.
‘We humbly invite you to assist Amber and Clarke as they navigate this unimaginable nightmare they are now forced to live with.
‘We all know Clarke and Amber to be the most loving, kind-hearted, and genuine people,’ says the group.
‘They are always willing to help others in need, and we sincerely thank you for all the help you can give them.
The resort has confirmed that it is cooperating with investigators.
According to a Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific spokesperson, the family has received our sincere condolences, and we are thinking of them at this challenging time.
‘Our management team is conducting an extensive investigation into the incident and cooperating with the Police and authorities,’ the Company said.
