No evidence suggests Christopher “Big Black” Boykin’s death was a suicide or murder.
According to reports from his representative, he passed away on May 9, 2017, at 45, due to heart failure.
Despite efforts by the staff to revive him for 30 minutes, they could not do so. Boykin is survived by his daughter, Isis Rae Boykin, who was nine years old at the time of his passing.
Following his demise, several celebrities expressed their condolences on social media to commemorate his memory.
Before his passing, Boykin had a defibrillator implanted in his heart. At the beginning of May 2017, he was admitted to a hospital in Plano, Texas and placed under cardiac monitoring.
Sadly, on May 9, his heart ceased to function, and medical staff made efforts for half an hour to revive him.
Despite their best efforts, he was declared deceased at 4:00 pm CDT. While initial reports did not disclose the official reason behind his passing, it was later confirmed that Boykin had suffered a heart attack which led to heart failure.

He remembered his graduation day as one of the happiest in his life because he knew he would not have to return once he received his diploma.
His Father and Uncle John had encouraged him to move forward, and Boykin considered it the best advice he had ever received.
