Carlos Dominguez Parents: The Arrest of Dominguez in Connection with Three Stabbings brings attention to his Ethnicity and Family Background
Carlos Dominguez is a 21-year-old resident of Davis in Yolo County, California, United States.
He pursued his education in biological sciences at the “University of California” in Davis. Before his time at UC Davis, Dominguez resided in Oakland, Alameda County, California, where he participated in football and track.
Dominguez was in his third year of studies at UC Davis until he was dismissed for academic reasons on April 25, 2023.
He had transferred from Laney College in Oakland and was even featured in an Oakland Unified School District profile, in which he expressed his aspiration to become a doctor.
Dominguez has been a resident of Davis for at least a couple of years. However, he is accused of committing three stabbings: Kimberlee Guillory, aged 64, David Henry Breaux, aged 50, and Karim Abou Najm, aged 20.

UC Davis: Carlos Dominguez Parents And Ethnicity
Dominguez resided in a House on Hawthorn Lane with a group of roommates.
On Thursday morning, May 4, 2023, law enforcement officials, including the FBI, searched the residence. However, no information is available in the media regarding his family and parental background.
Dominguez gained widespread attention after being arrested in connection with three recent stabbing incidents in a California University town, resulting in the death of two men and severe injuries to one woman.
The authorities charged him with two counts of murder & one count of attempted murder on Thursday afternoon, at around 1 pm, following which he was taken into custody and booked into Yolo County Jail, according to the Police.
The first stabbing incident occurred on April 27, when 50-year-old David Breaux, known locally as “Compassion Guy,” was attacked and repeatedly stabbed while sitting on a bench near the UC Davis campus.
The second stabbing occurred on April 29, resulting in the death of 20-year-old UC Davis senior Karim Abou Najm, who was fatally stabbed while on his way House from an undergraduate awards ceremony.
And the third attack happened on May 1, when a 64-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times through her tent at a homeless encampment and remains in critical condition.
How Police Identified Carlos Dominguez as a Suspect in the California Stabbings?
According to the Police, callers reported seeing an individual matching the suspect’s description wandering in and around Sycamore Park, where the second homicide occurred.
Following these reports, Dominguez was taken into custody on Wednesday near Pine Lane and Colby Drive.
Upon searching the suspect, officers discovered a large fixed-blade knife on his person.
Dominguez’s clothing during his arrest was identical to those described after the third attack.
For now, the Police have not stated that Dominguez had any prior criminal convictions.
Who Are The Victims of Carlos Dominguez’s Stabbings?
The victims are David Breaux, Karim Abou Najm and Kimberlee Guillory.
David Breaux was found dead in Central Park in Davis on April 27 around 11:20 am. He was known to frequent the park, and his friend Americo Meza described him as sweet and empathetic.
Similarly, on April 29, another stabbing occurred at Sycamore Park, killing Karim Abou Najm, a 20-year-old UC Davis student and graduate of Davis High School.
Karim’s Father, Majdi Abou Najm, described his son as a wonder of energy, a free spirit who just wanted to see the goodness around him.
Further, on May 1, Kimberlee Guillory was stabbed at a homeless encampment near 2nd and L Street. As of May 2, Police Chief Darren Pytel said she was awake, alert, and talking but still in critical condition in the ICU.
