Willcox, David Eades, and Joanna Gosling left the BBC as part of an effort to merge its domestic and foreign news programs.

Willcox voluntarily decided not to participate in the recruitment process for a new channel merging BBC News and BBC World News.

Before marrying Najah, Willcox was previously married to Sarah for 17 years. The couple had four children together but divorced in 2014.

Tim was reportedly involved in an affair with BBC team member Sophie Long in 2012, but whether this played a role in his divorce is unclear.

Tim Willcox was born in Wellington, Somerset, on May 28, 1963. He is present 59 years of age and presently resides in England.

He is a British national and completed his education at Taunton School and St. Chad’s College. The television presenter also learned Spanish at Durham University.

When he was young, Willcox was passionate about music and played the trumpet as part of the British Youth Orchestra. He was also awarded a Cambridge choral scholarship.
