Cooper had driven his car off a bridge that over a brook. Although no other vehicles were involved in the crash, Cooper was critically injured and later received medical treatment.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at 10:30 pm on northbound South Duck Creek. According to preliminary findings, the young driver was traveling north when he lost control, probably owing to wet conditions, and slid sideways into a railing on a bridge.
The impact caused the guardrail to flex; some of it went into the stream, while another chunk punched through the passenger window and into the dashboard of the Kia Sephia.
Firefighters gently removed the driver from the Kia, which was on the verge of collapsing into the creek’s deep waters below. Afterward, the man was transported to a Conroe hospital in serious condition.
The collision is still being investigated, but the exact cause of the driver’s loss of control is unknown.

“Cole has begun moving limbs such as his arms; he isn’t moving his limbs because he can, but he is largely moving them to reflex or response,” stated close family friend Jennifer Smith. “Doctors also come in to reposition Cole so he doesn’t stiffen up.”
