The 49-year-old has suffered chronic leg pain, leaving her reliant on mobility aids.
Moss has alleged that her condition results from the doctor’s negligence.
According to reports, her initial doctor, Chris Coghill, failed to diagnose her hip pain properly.
It was only when she saw another GP that the cause of her pain was identified as a lateral tear around her hip socket.
Two months later, she underwent surgery to repair the damage.
Moss has accused Chris of being negligent in his duty of care, as he failed to refer her to specialists for scans.
The late diagnosis resulted in chronic hip pain, nerve damage, an abnormal gait, and psychological injuries.
Describing her pain as “like a cold Fire,” Moss said it began in her right hip and spread throughout her body, including her face and right arm.

Despite her condition, Moss is recovering and has been sharing her experiences on social media.

Tara Moss Supreme Court Battle Against Doctor
The Canadian author, Tara Moss, has taken legal action against her former Blue Mountains doctor, Chris Coghill, alleging medical negligence.
She claims that his carelessness and negligence caused her to be in a wheelchair, resulting in a loss of work and significant trouble.
The case is ongoing in the Supreme Court, where lawyer Hilbert Chiu represents Moss.
She accused Dr. Coghill of failing to diagnose a right labral tear in 2016.
In response, Dr. Coghill has denied the allegations and is preparing to defend the matter in court without any settlements.
Moss claims that Dr. Coghill’s negligence has caused her significant economic loss and has put her rising career on hold.
Before the trial proceeds, the court has scheduled an assessment for Moss by three doctors in April.
