Taha Duymaz Death New has been trending on social media as the TikTok star has died trapped in the wreckage of a collapsed building in the Turkish city of Hatay.
Following the devastating earthquakes in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria, the plight of a young TikTok cooking sensation has attracted the attention of Turkish media.
According to new numbers released Tuesday morning, at least 3,549 people were killed in Turkey due to the two earthquakes that struck in the early hours of Monday and again mid-morning, followed by hundreds of aftershocks.

His initial reputation sprang from blogs about making classic and inventive foods on a budget. Still, he has expanded into a broader interest in his narrative as a boy who failed in school but discovered his purpose in cooking.

According to local sources, Taha Duymaz, with 1.9 million TikTok followers and a large following on Instagram and YouTube, was trapped and died in a destroyed building in Hatay, Turkey.
Semiha Duymaz, his older sister, said on social media on Monday that she believed Taha and four other relatives were still alive beneath the wreckage of their Hatay House.
She stated that emergency personnel had yet to arrive at the fallen building across the street from a high school in Hatay.

She asked for help excavating her family, causing an outpouring of anxiety on social media and pleas for rescue attempts to be pushed up.
Duymaz last posted on TikTok on Sunday at 7 pm local time, only hours before the first earthquake. Even though search and rescue activities in Kahramanmaras continue, hundreds of individuals have been buried. She has stopped looking for her brother.

Taha Duymaz Death News: What Happened To Him?
Following the deadly earthquakes in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria, he has attracted the attention of Turkish media.
Two large earthquakes, measuring 7.8 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, demolished structures and killed hundreds in southern Turkey and northern Syria.
With the deaths in Syria, the total death toll now stands at least 5,100. In Turkey alone, at least 20,000 people have been hurt.
According to the government, there have been 11,342 complaints of fallen structures, 5,775 of which have been substantiated. It is uncertain how many individuals are trapped beneath collapsing structures.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared a three-month rule of emergency in the country’s southernmost regions on Tuesday.
He goes on to say that the earthquake was so large that nearly no structures in the city survived undamaged.
“Unfortunately, we are witnessing how some media organizations are shifting perceptions and choosing scapegoats under the pretense of reporting,” he stated.
With so many structures collapsing around the devastated region, many Turks have questioned the nature of the construction laws.
Although the quakes were strong, experts say well-built structures should have been able to withstand them.
