Elmer Stewart Rhodes III is a disbarred American lawyer, convicted felon, domestic terrorist, and the founder of Oath Keepers, an anti-government militia in the United States.

Stewart Rhodes Accident: Arrest And Charges
Stewart Rhodes, the Oath Keepers founder and commander, was sentenced to 18 years in jail on Thursday for his role in a vast scheme to retain then-President Donald Trump in power after he lost the 2020 election.
Kelly Meggs, the head of the Oath Keepers’ Florida contingent, was also sentenced to 12 years in jail. The penalties are the first for seditious conspiracy in over a decade.
“What we certainly cannot have is a group of individuals fomenting revolution because they did not like the outcome of an election or because they did not feel the law was being implemented as it should be,” District Judge Amit Mehta said before handing down the sentence. “That’s exactly what you did.”
“I dare to say, Mr. Rhodes, and I have never said this to anyone I have sentenced,” Mehta added, “you constitute a continuing threat and hazard to our democracy and the fabric of our country.”
