Jennings “Jay” Randolph Jr. is an American sportscaster with a more than fifty-year career. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Randolph worked for N.B.C. Sports television, announcing sports such as the National Football League, Major League Baseball, college football, college basketball, the P.G.A. Tour and LPGA golf.
Randolph worked as a play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Reds in 1988 and the Florida Marlins from 1993 to 1996, as well as hosting the Marlins’ T.V. pregame show from 1997 to 2000. He eventually worked as a golf broadcaster for CNBC and The Golf Channel.
