Elliott Kropf, a New Canaan High School senior, sadly left the world on Saturday night, September 14, 2024. However, the exact reason has not been revealed yet.

Elliott was a strong student, an excellent athlete, a kind young man, and a wonderful friend, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him,””Such unimaginable loss is difficult to process, and we want to ensure that our students, staff, and families have access to the support they need during this difficult time.”

New Canaan High School will operate on a two-hour delay schedule on Monday, with buses running at their regular time and classes starting at 10 A.M. Luizzi added,
“This will provide time for Elliott’s friends to gather together in support and love, and, if desired, speak with our dedicated counselors and staff,”

Moreover, counselors will be available throughout Monday, and in the coming days, he will encourage students to reach out anytime if school resources can assist them and their families.
In addition, the entire New Canaan School is mourning the loss of their student-athlete, Elliott Kropf.
Elliott Kropf Is Survived By His Parents, Scott Kropf And Ngoc Dinh
Elliott Kropf, 17, was born on November 28, 2007, in New Canaan, Connecticut, United States, to his father, Scott Kropf, and his mother, Ngoc Dinh.
According to the Facebook profile of Ngoc Dinh, she completed her graduation from Tufts University in 1999, a world-class private research university in Greater Boston.
Ngoc is a full-time strategic advisor for Verisk. Earlier, she was the Customer success manager at Microsoft.
His father is originally from New Canaan, Connecticut, and has supported Elliott in pursuing his career in ice hockey.
Recently, Scott uploaded a photo of Eliott Kropfs on his official Facebook profile in his memory.
On March 16, 2024, Scott and Ngoc attended the Fairfield Country Interscholastic Athletic Conference 2023-24, along with Elliott Kropf.
His close ones and friends poured their heartfelt condolences to his parents, encouraging them to stay strong in this challenging period.

Elliott Kropf’s parents were born and raised in the United States and hold American ethnicity.
Elliott’s father’s ancestors have a deep-rooted history with Germany, and they migrated to the United States for better facilities and opportunities.

In February 2018, Elliott, his siblings, and his parents visited Killington to experience skiing.
