This rally was in response to the Iranian judiciary’s three death sentences recently issued against anti-government protesters.

Rights activists on social media have reported that two protesters, Mohammad Ghobadlou and Mohammad Boroughani, have been moved to solitary confinement in the Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj before their execution.

Dozens of people were seen gathering in the evening outside of Rajai Shahr prison, chanting slogans against the ruling clerics.

One clip showed Mohammad Ghobadlou’s mother claiming her son’s case was an injustice and that he was innocent.
