Michael Little Police charged in the death of Edward Bronstein
In connection with the passing of Edward Bronstein, who passed away in Altadena, California, over three years ago, a police officer named Michael Little has been prosecuted.
Seven members of the California Highway Patrol, including Little and a licensed nurse, are accused of involuntary manslaughter and assault in connection with Bronstein’s passing. According to the prosecution, officers Dustin Osmanson and Marciel Terry stopped Bronstein based on a possible DUI.
The CHP maintenance yard in Altadena was the next stop for the cops to take him to take his blood. Six police officers are accused of holding down a shackled Bronstein during the blood draw as the nurse took his blood despite his repeated claims that he was having trouble breathing.
After the blood extraction, Bronstein lost consciousness, and he was maintained face down for another six minutes or more. Bronstein lost consciousness after the officers waited ten minutes before starting CPR and was eventually declared dead.
Bronstein’s death was attributed to “acute methamphetamine intoxication during law enforcement restraint,” according to the cause of death report. A video of the incident was captured and made public over two years after Bronstein’s passing.

How did Edward Bronstein die?
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Office, Coroner Edward Bronstein died from “acute methamphetamine intoxication while restraint by police enforcement.”
