She posted a snap of her cradling newborn baby girl Luna the day she was welcomed into the world.

The actress captioned the post – “Luna Mary Dwan born at 11:44 am today 6lbs 12 Oz. We are utterly besotted!”

Dwan confirmed her pregnancy through her Instagram account, sharing several books about pregnancy.

Speaking of their relationship, Lisa Dwan met Paul during her hectic schedule while traveling between cities (Belfast, London, and New Jersey) for work.

They first met at Jermyn Street Theatre in London. The actress was there to watch a trio of short Beckett plays. Trevor Nunn directed it.

For the duration of the pandemic, Lisa decided to return to New York, and she boarded a plane.

But just before takeoff, she realized she liked living in London, and she got off the plane.

Dwan fell in love with her life as well as her partner, Paul. In addition, she learned many different things during that time.

She learned to cook, order a cello on Amazon, and she also learned a Bach prelude over Zoom.

Lisa Dwan Early life and Career Explored

Born in Coosan, Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland, Dwan was initially trained as a ballet dancer.

At 12 years old, she danced with Rudolf Nureyev in “Coppélia” (a Ballet San Jose production).

Dwan won a scholarship to attend the Dorothy Stevens School of Ballet in Leeds at 14. The actress has also danced with the London Lewis Ballet Company.

Lisa pursued her acting career with her debut movie, an adaptation of Oliver Twist. She played the role of Agnes in the movie.

The movie also starred Elijah Wood and Richard Dreyfuss.

The actress’ first series was Saban’s Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, in which she played the role of Princess Deirdre.

Similarly, she starred as Orla in eight episodes of “The Big Bow Wow” in 2004. 

Moreover, Lisa appeared as Zoe Burke in 28 episodes of Fair City from 2006 to 2007. She also played the role of Angel Islington on Rock Rivals.

The talented Dwan starred in a one-woman production adapted from Beckett’s “Stories and Texts for Nothing” at Old Vic and Abbey.
