Khorfakkan Boat Accident: A native Of Ananthampalla, Nileswaram Abhilash, 38, Passed Away
Abhilash Vazhavalappil was a 38-year-old resident of Nileswaram in Kasarkot who passed away in a tragic boat accident in Khorfakan, UAE.
He had worked as a helper in a private Company in Sharjah for the past seven years.
Sadly, he lost his life in a tragic boat accident in Khorfakan. Abhilash, who had come to Khorfakan to celebrate Eid with his colleagues, died in an accident.
Along with Abhilash, three other Malayalis were injured in the incident, including a child from Thiruvananthapuram who is in critical condition.
Abhilash was all set to attend a milking ceremony at his newly constructed House when the accident occurred. He had worked as a helper in a private Company in Sharjah for the past seven years.
The boat, which was carrying eighteen individuals, including 16 passengers and two crew members, is believed to have capsized due to the overloading of passengers.

Khorfakkan Boat Accident: Abhilash 38, Kasaragod Death And Obituary
A resident of Nileswaram in Kasarkot, Abhilash (38), passed away in a boat accident in Khorfakan, UAE.
The boat carried eighteen people, including 16 passengers and two crew members, and was driven by a Malayali.
The accident occurred when they were going to celebrate the Eid holiday.
According to Shaukat, a driver in Abhilash’s Company and a survivor of the accident, the boat capsized due to excessive speed and weight when it was about one and a half kilometers from the shore.
Abhilash has worked as a helper in a private Company in Sharjah for the past seven years.
Unfortunately, the boat accident injured three other Malayalis, including a child from Thiruvananthapuram, who was in critical condition. The other two injured individuals are Abhilash’s colleagues.
Abhilash’s body is currently being kept in the mortuary of Fujairah Hospital.
He had been residing in Sharjah for the past eight years and was the son of agricultural laborers Vijayan and Shyamala.
Tragically, Abhilash was about to attend a milking ceremony in his newly built House when the accident occurred.
A Glimpse Into The Life of Abhilash and His Family
Abhilash was one of the victims of a tragic boat accident in Khorfakkan, UAE. He was a 38-year-old resident of Nileswaram in Kasarkot.
His body is being kept at Fujairah Hospital’s morgue. He is survived by his wife, Aswathy, their daughter, Abhaya, and his brother, Ajeesh.
Vijayan and Shyamala, agricultural laborers, are the parents of the individual in question. The family originates from Ananthampalla in Nileswaram, Kasargod, Kerala, India.
Similarly, the accident happened during a boat trip to celebrate the Eid holiday with 16 passengers and two crew members, including Abhilash, on board.
The boat was reportedly operated by a Malayali driver and capsized due to excessive speed and weight when it was about one and a half kilometers from the shore.
Unfortunately, Abhilash did not survive the accident. Among the other injured individuals, three were Malayalis, including a child from Thiruvananthapuram who was in critical condition, and two were Abhilash’s colleagues.
His family and friends remembered Abhilash for his hard work and dedication to his job, and his death was a significant loss to them.
