The only sign of his horrific demise came in the form of a contribution request.
“The Sturgeon family requests that any donations or expressions of condolence be directed to the fundraising for Louisville Metro Police Officer Nick Wilt,” the obit continues, referring to Alabama’s rally cry.
Police then found that Sturgeon had left behind a terrifying 13-page manifesto in which he stated his desire to shoot his employees during a morning meeting at the bank.
He stated he was “suicidal” and intended to “murder everyone at the bank.” His parents then acknowledged that their kid had mental health problems.
“Although Connor, like many of his contemporaries, had mental health difficulties that we, as a family, were actively treating,” the family wrote in a statement two days after the shooting.
