Is Meghan Markle A Psychopath? Does She Have Any Mental Disorder?
The title “Is Meghan Markle A Psychopath” sounds as surprising as it is. It appears shocking that people speculate about such a psychological disorder in the lady.
First, the signs of psychopathy include abnormal or violent social behavior, manipulation, and behavioral traits that divert from acceptable social norms. The Duchess of Sussex doesn’t possess any such traits.
Besides, Markle has never shown any disturbing behaviors that could lead her to be labeled with a severe term such as psychopath. So, what could have led the people to make such speculations?
While the exact answer is not found, this might have stemmed from Markle and Prince Harry’s dispute with the royal staff in the last half of 2022.
Meghan Markle’s former staff group revealed her alleged bullying on Valentine Low’s Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown. Calling her a “narcissistic sociopath,” the staff complained about being played.
Naming themselves Sussex Survivors’ Club, the group shared how Markle and Prince Harry’s treatment of them made them feel broken and shaken with fear.
Shedding light on the actress’ bad blood with King Charles’ private secretary, Clive Alderton and the late queen’s private secretary, Edward Young, the people disclosed Meghan allegedly portrayed herself as a victim and being rejected by royales.
Although the staff’s allegations came a year ago, the impact it has on Meghan Markle and people is still fresh. Was their allegations true; unfortunately, it has not been proven.
Meghan Markle Bipolar And DID: Mental Health Update
Aforementioned, the Duchess of Sussex has been upfront about her mental health issues.
Opening up to Oprah in an interview, Meghan revealed having suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy with her firstborn, Archie.
Markle shared how her asking for help was rejected by the royal family on the ground that it wouldn’t be good for the institution. It must have been heartbreaking for the lady.
As her urges and pleadings were unheard of, Meghan and her husband decided to step away from their family roles in January 2020. The pair has since left all royal affairs and led a modest life.
Following her interview with Oprah about her mental issues, many criticized Markle for seeking attention.
However, her motto was to reach her stories to those who might have felt the same or undergone similar issues.
It was done to ask for the help she needed rather than criticize the British royal family.
While Markle has bravely shared about her mental health struggles, she has never revealed having bipolar or DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). There has been no official verification of Markle being diagnosed with these disorders.
Hence, Meghan Markle’s bipolar and DID speculations are but rumors. Likewise, talks about her being a psychopath came from her former staff’s narcissistic sociopath allegations.
