Is Al Stauch New Wife Melissa? Did He Remarry?

Based on recent news reports, Al Stauch, the Father of Gannon Stauch, has a new wife named Melissa.

According to The Gazette, Al Stauch was seen leaving the El Paso County Courthouse in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Monday, May 8, 2023, with Melissa and a child.

This occurred shortly after Letecia Stauch, Al’s ex-wife and Gannon’s stepmother, was found guilty of murdering Gannon.

While there has been no valid confirmation of Al’s marital status or relationship with Melissa, their presence at the courthouse suggests they may be married or in a committed relationship.

According to reports, in 2020, Letecia Stauch’s spouse, Albert “Al” Stauch, filed for divorce from her. Letecia faced first-degree murder charges about the disappearance of Gannon, Albert’s son.

The filing was confirmed by a representative from the Office of the State Court Administrator on Friday of that year.

Albert cited the irretrievable breakdown of their marriage as the reason for the divorce. The divorce was reportedly finalized after Letecia’s arrest and subsequent accusation of murdering Gannon.

For Albert, the finalization of the divorce was a relief, describing it as “a burden finally lifted.”

Gannon Stauch Missing Case: Timeline, Investigation, and Verdict of Letecia Stauch

Gannon Stauch, an 11-year-old boy, went missing on January 27, 2020, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

His stepmother, Letecia Stauch, reported him missing and claimed that he had left their home to visit a friend’s House and never returned.

A search was conducted, but suspicions grew as Letecia’s story became inconsistent and evidence contradicted her account.

During the weeks after Gannon went missing, Stauch fabricated multiple false narratives and concealed evidence before she was apprehended on March 2, 2020, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

According to Allen, she deliberately misled investigators and succeeded in leading them on a wild-goose chase around the county.

But, after five weeks, Letecia was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

On the other hand, according to prosecutors, in January 2020, Stauch murdered Gannon by stabbing him 18 times, striking him four times on the head, and shooting him in the jaw, which caused severe damage to the boy’s skull.

The killing occurred in Gannon’s bedroom while they resided in El Paso County. Stauch then concealed Gannon’s remains in a remote location and eventually rented a van to transport his body to Pensacola, Florida, where she disposed of it under a bridge.

Furthermore, Prosecutors presented evidence that Letecia had searched “I hate my stepson” and had sent a text message describing Gannon as “not coming back.”

The community was deeply affected by Gannon’s disappearance and murder, and his family and friends continue to mourn.
