George Albert, a technocrat from Kenya specializing in surgery, had a heart attack and passed away on January 24, 2023.
He was a professor of surgery at Maseno University School of Medicine. Moreover, a surgeon professor attended Dr. David Livingstone Primary school in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
After passing out from Primary school, George attended Starege Boy’s Centre and School, where he graduated in O-Level studies.
Mr. Mogaha studies at Strathmore School for A-level education, where he graduated with a High School Diploma.
George Mogoha was appointed Chairman, dean and principal in the College of Health of Science in the late 1990s to early 2000s.
He was then appointed as deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Nairobi. In 2005 he was appointed as the UoN vice-chancellor, having scored the highest among the applicants.
In 2016, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed him as the Chairman of the Kenya National Council with his record as a no-nonsense education administrator.
Geroge, as soon as he got appointed as the Chairman of KNEC, his first task was to reform the council and arrest the widespread academic dishonesty & corruption in the administration of the national examination.
He was appointed to the Kenya Cabinet Security for Education on March 1 of this year. On March 26, 2019, he took the oath of office for Cabinet Security.

George Magoha Died Of A Heart Attack
George was an academic administrator, technocrat and consultant surgeon. Since January 2023, he has been a professor and taught at Maseno University School of Medicine in wester, Kenya.
On January 24, 2023, Magoha died following a heart attack in Nairobi Hospital.
Prof. Magoha passed away in the hospital after he was brought there after collapsing in the house.
Dr. Mwanda recounted receiving a phone call around 3 pm on January 24 from Prof. Magoha’s wife informing him that he was unwell.
The former Chairman of KNEC collapsed his son; a medical doctor resuscitated him.
After resuscitating Mr. Magoha again collapsed to the casualty section. After collapsing in the casualty section, the medical staff in charge attempted resuscitation, which took time but could not bring him back.

The Former CS Magoha is famous for his work as the Chairman of KNEC. Prof. Mahoga is married to Barbara Odudu Mogoha.
According to the reports, the pair met at the University of Lagos. They were students at the University at the time.
The couple married in 1982 and are blessed with one son Michael Augustus Achinaja.
Mr. and Mrs. Magoha were married for almost 42 years.
Odudu barbara, wife of the late George, is a medical practitioner. She works as a gynecologist and consultant obstetrician at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Just like Mr. and Mrs. Magoha, their son is also a doctor. He studied in the school of medicine at UoN and graduated in 2009.

The late Professor George Magoha was a well-known and respected educator in Kenya who devoted his professional life to the country’s educational system. On July 2, 1952, he was born in Kenya.
George’s unexpected death has left behind a widow, Barbra and her son, Michael.
After the death of former CS, his wife Barbra made her first public appearance at the Funeral Home.
It is alleged that Mr. Magoha spoke to his wife in private moments before he passed out at the hospital.
Mrs. Magoha was seen with relatives and friends at the funeral to mourn the death of George.
The death of George at the age of 71 is a loss not only to his family but also to the education sector, friends and loved ones.
