In the story, Gossuin had straps put on to close the wound on her forehead.

Despite the severity of the injury, the TV star assured her fans that she is doing well now, and her wound has been treated as if she never had it.

As a member of the jury of Mister France, Elodie was enjoying a boat trip with her friends and colleagues when the incident occurred.
She had gone offshore to swim with sharks when she was in grave danger. In an interview, she said, “I almost died. We were offshore to swim with the sharks when I almost got run over between two boats.”
Fortunately, another beauty queen, Cindy Fabre, saved her life. Fabre acted quickly and pulled Gossuin out of harm’s way, preventing a potential tragedy.

Elodie Gossuin has returned from her recent injury and resides in France with her husband and kids.
