Edgar Garay, a man from Indiana, is announced dead by the U.S. Coast Guard in San Juan. His body was found a day after he fell 70 feet down the cliff.
The cause of Edgar Garay Death has been confirmed as “Falling Fatality and Accident.” According to a witness, he was seen stumbling toward the edge of a cliff.
He was supposedly trying to make a TikTok video while he fell off the cliff.

Edgar Garay Death: Indiana Man Found Dead After Falling Off 70-Foot While Making TikTok
The U.S. Coast Guard Team found Edgar Garay’s body on Monday, January 30, 2023. The reports had shown that he died just the day before his body was found.
Edgar Garay from Indiana was just 27 years old when he met the tragic end of his life on January 29, 2023.
Commander Capt. José E. Díaz from Coast Guard Sector has expressed his heartfelt grief towards the death of young Edgar.
A witness had seen him stumbling toward the edge of a cliff near Cabo Rojo’s Lighthouse, and they immediately called the authorities.
Reports have shown that he was on a “recreational day trip” to the southwestern coast of Puerto Rico.
The TikToker was last seen alive on Sunday evening near the cliff’s edge.
San Juan Officials received a call at 6:50 pm the same day from a 911 emergency operator.
They immediately launched a Coast Guard MH-60T helicopter to conduct multiple search patterns during the night.
However, Garay’s body was not found until Monday afternoon.
The Puerto Rico Emergency Bureau Unit and U.S. Coast Guard located his submerged body after a whole day of searching for the body.
Parents And Siblings on Edgar Garay Death
Edgar Garay was born on December 5, 1996, in a Caribbean Island and unincorporated U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico to a Latino Family.
The information about Edgar’s parents and siblings has not been disclosed, and all the interviews they’ve done with the media have remained discrete and private.
On the tragic incident of Edgar Garay’s death, his brother Carlos Garay mourned his younger sibling’s death 1,800 miles away in Columbus.
Although the information about his parents is not disclosed, it is a known fact that he used to live with his family in Columbus, Indiana.
Edgar Garay was brought to Columbus with his elder brother when he was about five.
He went to Columbus North High School and was known as “Chuwey” by his friend and family.

The cause of Egar Garay’s death has been rumored to be falling off the cliff while shooting a TikTok Video.
He had posted a video of him hiking and diving in Puerto Rico a few days before his tragic death.
His TikTok Account goes by the username of @chayanchewy, and he has about 88 followers and 774 likes.
The video where he hikes in Puerto Rico has nearly 4,500 views.
Edgar was also an avid fan of PC Games like Fifa, Fortnite, Multiversus, and UFC. His account still has several videos of him playing these multiplayer games.
Many friends and relatives have mourned Edgar Garay’s death via comments on his TikTok Account.
His brother sobbingly said that he always loved making videos and probably died trying to film something.
