Dr. Mazhar Ali Khan died of suicide by shooting himself with a revolver. His family took him right away to Apollo Hospital.

Dr. Mazheruddin Ali Khan, an orthopedic surgeon at Owaisi Hospital and Research Centre, committed suicide on Monday afternoon in Hyderabad.

According to the Police, he shot himself in the forehead. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The second daughter of Asaduddin Owaisi, a member of parliament and head of the All-India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, is married to Dr. Mazhar’s son (AIMIM). Also, he goes to school with cricketer Mohamed Azharuddin.

Why Did Asaduddin Owaisi Father-In-Law Dr. Mazhar Ali Khan Suicide?

Dr. Mazhar Ali Khan allegedly died of suicide because of a family and property dispute at his home at Banjara Hills No. 12.

Family members transported the badly injured Dr. Mazar to Apollo Hospital, where he passed away while receiving treatment.

When they learned about the situation, the late Dr. Mazhar—a relative of MIM Leader Asaduddin Owaisi—and Akbaruddin Owaisi, another AIMIM brother, went to Apollo Hospital.

Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, the managing editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, also arrived at the hospital with family members and conveyed his sorrow by claiming that what had been taken back was a gift from God.

What happened on that day?

According to the neighbors, the family of Dr. Mazhar, who resides in Banjara Hills MLA Colony, is said to have fought frequently over the past three months.

These were so loud that they informed the nearby neighbors who knew about it. The neighbors, frightened by the development, could also hear the gunshot.

There were property issues within the family, which led to legal proceedings. Due to the property investments gone awry and the fact that the money came from Dr. Mazhar’s wife’s family, there were a lot of conflicts.

According to insiders, the problem worsened during the past three months due to the court rulings against them.

Dispute over property

According to the investigators, Khan is the younger brother of Siasat’s managing editor Zaheruddin Ali Khan.

The brothers Akbaruddin and Asaduddin Owaisi were close to him. Mohammad Azharuddin, a former Indian cricket captain, attended the same school as Khan.

Khan’s neighbors allegedly informed the Police that loud disputes were frequently heard from Khan’s home during the previous few months. They remembered hearing gunshots.

According to the DCP, Khan and his family were embroiled in a property dispute, and court cases were also brought.

According to reports, the deceased invested in his wife’s properties but lost money. Khan had lived apart from his wife ever since she accused him of domestic abuse.

Who Was Dr Mazhar Ali Khan?

Dr. Mazhar Ali Khan was a renowned orthopedic surgeon. He completed an MBBS and an MS in orthopedics.

In his 29 years as a doctor, he assisted many patients. He has a consulting practice at Ortho Care in Lakdikapul, Hyderabad is fluent in Hindi and English.

He used to offer the best medical care for various conditions, including bone trauma, fracture treatment, joint and muscle problems, knee replacement, primary hip and knee arthroplasty, and many others.

DCP West Zone Joel Davis and his team responded to a hospital tip and went to the facility to begin an investigation.

Later, when speaking to the media, Joel Davis revealed that Dr. Mazar Ali Khan had shot himself in the head because of family and property disputes, adding that the family members were with him at the time.

He has, however, mandated that the postmortem be recorded.
