Evan Faulks, a professional surfer and alleged “high-ranking member” of the infamous Bra Boys, was arrested on Tuesday during a car stop on the Gold Coast.

Faulks is accused of directing a $12.6 million meth ring, while his partner, Ariane Rose Munch, was arrested at a nearby home and charged with drug dealing.

Police allege Munch to be an “associate” of the group & these charges follow an 18-month operation called Strike Force Madeline.

The professional surfer has also been charged with concealing almost $840,000 with a Tabcorp (TAB) betting account, among other allegations.

Police believe that Faulks organized the ring as a ‘high ranking member’ of the infamous Sydney surf gang, the ‘Bra Boys.’
