In March 2012, Vizcaya was scouted and signed by Ramon Pena and Antonio Caballero of the Cleveland Indians organization. 

He quickly made a name for himself in his professional debut with the DSL Indians, posting a 3-2 record with a stellar ERA of 0.94 and limiting opponents to a batting average of .167/.240/.206.

Vizcaya stood out among the pitchers in the Dominican Summer League, coming in second in ERA, fourth in opponent average, and fifth in fewest baserunners per 9 IP for a starting pitcher.

In the 2019 Premier 12, Vizcaya pitched for the Venezuelan team. He struggled in his lone appearance, facing the champion Japanese team.

He was brought in to replace Elvis Escobar in the 8th inning, inheriting a 4-2 lead, but with two runners on and no outs.

In his outing, Vizcaya was able to retire Nobuhiro Matsuda but struggled with Tsubasa Aizawa, issuing a walk on four pitches.

The next batter, Tetsuto Yamada, was also walked, allowing a run to score. Ryosuke Kikuchi’s single tied the game, and Vizcaya then walked Kensuke Kondo, who scored the game-winning run.

Vizcaya’s ERA in the event was the highest of any pitcher, with a value double that of the runners-up, Escobar and Rosa.
